Memory Care at Highlands of St. Paul provides the highest level of care for loved ones living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. As part of Ebenezer, Highlands of St. Paul participates in Ebenezer’s powerful Dimensions Program. This program was made possible by a Performance-based Incentive Grant designed to improve and elevate the quality of dementia care throughout the system.
Caring for a loved one with memory loss. You are not alone. There are many caregiver support groups throughout Ebenezer.
At Highlands of St. Paul, we stress the importance of person-centered care for all of our memory care residents. We create care plans based on your loved one’s abilities, needs, preferences and personal history. Moreover, we are committed to meeting our memory care residents where they are—which can change from day to day. Some days, they function well; other days they may require extra attention. We expect this and train our staff accordingly.
Our memory care neighborhood is designed to help lessen stress and anxiety of our residents who live with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Each apartment home in our controlled-access memory care neighborhood features a private bath. A serene outdoor garden courtyard is available for “outdoor therapy” where our residents can help with gardening, or just enjoy being outside. This area is also controlled-access to protect residents who may wander. Our memory care residents gather for meals and activities in family-style dining and living
Rooms. Staff is on-site 24 hours every day providing support.
